Asian Arts, providing quality tai chi and qigong instruction, classes, individual instruction, seminars and workshops by nationally and internationally recognized masters, will be offering three new classes starting this winter.
Tai Chi for Couch Potatoes presents a way to get off the couch and be more active for those intimidated at the thought of joining a gym or a class with more experienced participants. This introductory class is designed for people that would like to try learning about tai chi, an activity that can help improve cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility and balance.
Tai chi practice has been shown to improve memory and brain health. Tai Chi for Memory is an easy-to-learn program useful for people with some memory loss, Alzheimer’s or similar conditions. A friend or family member may attend free as a practice partner.
A Taste of Tai Chi provides an idea of what tai chi is about. Through a very short form, participants are introduced to the fundamentals and movements.
