The Capital Region Vegan Network (formerly Albany Vegan Network) will host VEG OUT, the capital region’s inaugural vegan food festival, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 2, in the streets surrounding Monument Square, in historic downtown Troy.
VEG OUT is a family-friendly vegan food festival featuring tapas-sized portions of vegan food for sale from diverse area restaurants and food vendors. VEG OUT will run in conjunction with Suffragist Picnic and Monumental Music during the culminating day of Albany Symphony’s American Music Festival. The Arts Center of The Capital Region will also participate by providing thematic arts and crafts.
This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to explore vegan food, learn about local businesses that provide vegan options and enjoy a relaxing afternoon strolling around Monument Square listening to music, enjoying the arts and crafts and sampling vegan delights.
Admission is free. For more information, visit CapRegionVegans.org/veg-out. Potential vendors may email Erica at email@example.com.
