Holiday Make-and-Take Classes

Mary McChesney, owner of Sisters of the Earth Healing Studio, in Broadalbin, is hosting events for people to learn how easy and inexpensive it is to make homemade gifts using all-natural ingredients, without the use of toxins.
A gift giving make-and-take event to make heating pads with essential oils and herbs will take place from 10 to 11 a.m., December 2, 2017. The focus from 10 a.m. to noon, December 9, 2017, is on making herbal holiday gifts without the use of chemicals, instead, using all-natural ingredients.

McChesney says, “All of our events are to educate people on how to live a cleaner, more spiritual, healthy life without the use of prescription drugs and toxic chemicals in there everyday life. Getting back to nature, using what nature holds for us in our every day lives is so important.”

McChesney has studied for years with HerbMentor and Rosemary Gladstar, of Mountain Rose Herbs. Sisters of the Earth offers many additional on-going classes and events such as drum circles, yoga, labyrinth walks and gong meditations.
