Find New Ways to Meditate with Technology

MaryBeth Johnson & Jennifer Burke

Hosted by Medical Thermography Associates, Jennifer Burke, OTR/L, owner of Creative Health Solutions, and MaryBeth Johnson, RN, owner of Repair Your Health, are conducing a workshop, Turn Your Meditation ON!, at 6:30 p.m., February 21, 2018.

Burke says, “Evidence has shown that mindfulness-based activities such as meditation, breath work and guided imagery are powerful promoters of health. Many people have chronic pain or other symptoms keeping them from entering a therapeutic state. Others have been practicing these activities for years and would like to experience more enhanced results.”

With more affordable and portable technology, there are a variety of products that naturally change the frequency of the brain and body in way that are similar to achieving an advanced state of meditation or relaxation. Immediate positive results such as a feeling of calmness, pain relief, quieting of the mind, reduced anxiety and warming of the body, can be experienced. There are also beneficial systemic changes that occur that support healthy metabolic, circulatory and immune systems.

Workshop participants will experience a variety of technologies usually only available at expensive conferences, including smartphone apps, binaural beats, whole tones, cranial electric stim, pulsed electromagnetic field and proprietary essential oil blends for meditation.
